As the days grow longer, a lot of talk in the Glamour office is all about spring and we're finding ourselves falling in love with homeware and furniture all over again. Yes, mornings are still a little frosty and we're still layered up but your home is the perfect opportunity to embrace the new season first. Whether it’s updating furniture or just adding a refreshed pop of colour with decorative pieces, a seasonal refresh might just be exactly what you need to add to your basket.
Growing up, I remember the first sunny days of the year my mum would refresh the home, it added a completely new feel to the space and brought a sense of renewal and optimism. She would swap out heavy textiles for lighter fabrics, add fresh flowers, and re-arrange furniture to let in as much natural light as possible. It was a simple yet powerful way to welcome the new season and create a home that felt bright, airy, and full of possibility. So we asked five Glamour editors to share their must have pieces they are adding to their homes for spring, which may just inspire a little refresh of your own.

Truth be told, I want everything from Bettina Ceramica's curated collection of Italian ceramics but the Gigli Pedestal Bowl in Rosa would make the most beautiful centrepiece for a Spring lunch. Taking pre-orders now for a limited batch available in early March, it's sure to sell out as quickly as their first drop.

This handcrafted Japanese washi paper lamp turns something functional in the home into a stunning piece of modern art. I also love the warm, cosy glow it gives off when lit.

My favourite and most impactful way to bring a fresh touch to a space? A colourful rug. Whether it’s a sea blue for a grounding effect or a soft pastel for a light, airy feel, a rug instantly transforms a room, adding interest and a sense of calm. It pairs beautifully with neutral tones and natural textures too but I feel like I will go maximalist and clash with bolder accents, to mirror the joy and colours of spring. Now all I need is fresh flowers to tie everything together and bring in some life into the home.

I'm obsessed with everything L'Objet does because their pieces are incredibly luxurious but always designed with a sense of humour. The Ruan Hoffmann collection in particular has these fun, tongue-in-cheek slogans on gorgeous mugs and plates. Nothing makes me feel more grown-up than a fancy set of dinnerware so I'm very much lusting over this collection right now.

I recently moved to a new home in South West London, so selecting one piece I'm lusting over feels near-impossible. We have a lot that needs buying. Gun to my head – and assuming no constraints on the budget front – a sideboard for our living room is of high priority. Not least to house the multitude of books myself and my partner seem to have collected over the years, currently stacked on our kitchen floor. Soho Home's new-collection Armando sideboard is beautiful, crafted from solid oak and accentuated from above with a Calacatta Aura marble top. As with all Soho Home pieces, it takes inspiration from one of the brand's properties – this time, Soho House Chicago. I love the carved finish and the soft, pill-shaped silhouette.
