Returns

1. You can cancel your car hire booking up to 48 hours before the rental period is due to begin.

2. Provided you cancel your booking in advance, there is no cancellation fee.

3. If you cancel your booking closer to the start of your rental period, deductions will be applied to your refund.

4. Cancellation costs £60 or two days of your booking (whichever is higher).

5. Refunds will be issued immediately and reach your payment account within 5 working days.

Avis next-day delivery

All bookings made with Avis are paperless. As such, there’s no need for next-day delivery. All of your invoice details can be readily accessed via your smartphone or printed off at home.

Price match policy

Avis offers a Price Promise, guaranteeing the best prices when arranging vehicle hire. If you find an equivalent car or van rental offered more cheaply elsewhere, Avis will refund the difference.
