When it comes to effortlessly chic takes on trends, ba&sh is that girl. The Parisian designer is the go-to for timeless, versatile pieces with a modern twist, with the brand having mastered the formula for elegant boho looks that feel put together without being overdone.

And if you're wondering how this translates to party season, I can assure you it's as good as you'd expect. Lace, velvet, subtle sequining and all the trimmings feature, with delicious detailing and adaptable designs that epitomise day to night dressing.

In an effort to avoid the usual last minute panic and sort out my New Year's Eve outfit well in advance, I headed to ba&sh's Covent Garden shop to try out all the dreamy pieces from their wonderfully glitzy 9PM collection.

The best part? As is typical of ba&sh's collections, so many of these pieces are timeless, easily re-wearable options that can be dressed up and down as you need, meaning your investment will go a lot further than just NYE.

Intrigued? Here's all the best party season inspo from ba&sh's 9PM collection.

Welcome to my ba&sh Dressing Room Diary.

The mini moment

I love a mini skirt at the best of times and you'd be hard pushed to find a cuter option than ba&sh's Toya skirt. I'm obsessed with the high waisted fit, gorgeous geometric pattern and how understated the sequin detailing is. Pairing it with the Brianna jumper, large June tote bag and delicate rhinestone heels, this feels like a more low-key way of adding a touch of sparkle.

Versatile velvet

Velvet is always a good idea, especially when it features openwork lace like this. This is a great go-to when you want to throw something on but still feel super glam, with it being incredibly easy (and comfortable!) to wear.

Better still, the top and trousers make for stunning individual moments of their own, with this particular set proving so popular that the ba&sh team had to search far and wide to pin down one for me to try on. Snap it up while you can!

The power suit

Though it's hard to pick favourites from the 9PM collection, I'd be lying if I said this delicious pinstriped suit set wasn't calling out to me when I walked in the shop. I don't tend to be a bedazzled kind of gal, but this subtle rhinestone detailing very much feels like the gateway into a newfound love. I'm obsessed with how the Swarovski rhinestones catch the light and the slightly flared fit of the trousers, with this feeling like a more feminine take on the classic suit. This is 100% my NYE outfit – I can't think of a more perfect look to see in 2025.

Dress it up with their equally bedazzled dumpling-esque zip-up bag or for those in need of more space for their seemingly endless things (read: me), round off the look with the roomy yet chic metallic June leather tote.

The LBD

You can't go far wrong with an LBD and I love the subtle details of this particular dress, from rhinestone jewel on the gathered shoulders to the flattering crossover skirt. The short skirt made for the perfect moment to pair with these insanely trendy metallic ballet flats and the teeny tiny silver bag of my dreams. I'm obsessed with how the silver accents all tie in together.

Patterned partywear

The ikat patterning on this dress is dreamy in itself, but look a little closer and you'll notice the most divine sequin detailing. As someone who's typically more conservative with their glitz, this is the perfect amount of shimmer, with the rippling patterned velvet sitting under the sequins in the most understated yet chic way. I love this as a chilled day look, though the v-neck wrap style and gathered shoulders makes this just as easy to wear for an evening out.

The chic cutout

I appreciate a cutout moment at all times and this velvet take on it is just too good. The front of this midi dress is stunning in itself though the back is even better, with lace strips framing the small of the back in the most elegant way. Stylish yet timeless, this is the type of thing you can throw on and turn up looking effortlessly chic in.

The glitter gown

This glitter dress is a fail-safe option for party season. Fitted at the waist and featuring the glitter fabric of dreams, this is an ultra-flattering midi dress that feels wearable day to night.

Better still, it pairs with pretty much all of the bags from the 9PM range. I opted for this cute mini metallic clutch which can also be turned into a strapped shoulder situation – particularly handy as the night goes on and you don't want to have to have something in your hands the whole time.

A sparkly spin on workwear

Workwear just got an upgrade with this combo. Combining ba&sh's long sleeved glitter bodysuit with the rhinestone trousers from my favourite power suit, this look feels low-key yet chic.

The subtle sequin midi

Featuring similar pronounced shoulders to its mini counterpart, this midi gives a put together yet laid-back overall look though uses the same fabulous, fully sequinned velvet for added luxe detailing. I loved the wrap-around styling, accentuated waistline and slim fit sleeves and chose to pair with simple black heels to allow the dress to take centre stage.
