The runways are no stranger to the glitter-sitting-atop-frosted lipstick look. But model, activist and Squish Beauty founder Charli Howard took the trend to new heights at the starry GLAMOUR Women of the Year Awards in partnership with the Samsung Galaxy Ring.
Charli walked the red carpet with a punchy ruby lip encrusted with actual 3D sequins that were so dazzling, you almost needed sunglasses to look at it.
Speaking to GLAMOUR, Charli says she created a 1950s-inspired mood board ahead of the Awards, which was evident in both her demure updo and the silhouette of her Nicholas Oakwell skirt suit.
The shade of her lipstick perfectly matched the blood red hue of the fully beaded skirt and jacket with nipped-in waist, while the sequins mirrored the glass beads.
Charli paired her bold jewel-encrusted lip with fresh skin, sharply contoured cheekbones, defined brows and a clean cat-eye flick.
Charli is renowned for her eye-catching beauty and fashion choices at the GLAMOUR Women of the Year Awards. Last year, she resembled Lara Croft with a thigh-length braid, woven with metallic cord and strictly parted down the centre, and a goddess-meets-warrior sculptural gown.
While designer Nicholas Oakwell's suit is inspired by Hitchcock heroines such as Grace Kelly, we can't help but think Charli Howard's beauty look is channelling Betty Boop meets Dorothy's slippers. Obsessed doesn't begin to cover it.
