Chloe Bailey really understood the assignment when she attended the GLAMOUR Women of the Year Awards in partnership with Samsung Galaxy Ring, because when she said glamour, she meant it.

The GLAMOUR Musician of the Year award-winner served up old-school French allure with her beauty look. Her hair stylist, Kenya O'Neil, created romantically styled rococo curls piled high on her head. Plus, she kept things soft and undone with loose tendrils and kiss curls stroking the sides of her face.

As for makeup, Chloe again tapped up a French influence with a flirty elongated coquette liner sweeping out toward her hairline and a soft pink and nude eyeshadow blended out by her makeup artist, Esther Edeme. “For Chloe's glam, I wanted her to look regal and effortless, so I went with a soft cut crease using Pat McGrath Labs on the eyes and lips. The lip gloss is the Lust Lipgloss [in Astral Moon Flower] and it has a blue shimmer that reminded me of Cinderella's blue heel,” Esther told GLAMOUR exclusively. Esther finished off Chloe's glam with gently flushed cheeks. And, attention was paid to her decolletage and back which was swept with an ethereal gold highlighter.

To pull everything together, Chloe collaborated her stylist, Timothy Luke, on a show-stopper floor length, strapless red gown. The look was equal parts renaissance model and Jessica rabbit. And, to elevate things further, Chloe added scarlet opera gloves.

Chloe took the opportunity in her acceptance speech for Musican of the Year to recognise that her accomplishments “mean nothing if we don’t reach back and bring the next generation of women along with us.” She told guests: “Part of being able to do that is by being an example of what’s possible: being a representation that, as a woman, we can make, record and perform our own music. We can go to space. We can see ourselves on the big screen. We can make advancements in science, healthcare and education, and, yes, we can even be President one day.”

So, while she gives us beauty, grace and some truly stunning beauty references, Chloe Bailey, is determined to also be an inspiration for us, too.
