In the world of sex toys, G-spot vibrators are the dark horse of the pack. There may be some debate around whether or not the G-spot actually exists — keep scrolling to unpack that with us — but there's no doubt that some women can orgasm from penetration alone. Recent research suggests that 18.4% of women report that intercourse alone is sufficient to orgasm.
For those not so au fait with the world of sex toys, you may have heard of rampant rabbit vibrators and magic wand vibrators, considering both had a small cameo in Sex and the City. However, G-spot vibrators should not be ignored. Often doubling as clitoral vibrators, they'll save you from splashing out on two teasers. Plus, they'll give you (or your partner's fingers) a break when used during foreplay.
To find out more about these automated — and often seriously aesthetic — sex toys, we've trialled and tested a host of G-spot vibrators before rounding up our favourites below. We also checked in with top sex experts to get some answers to common FAQs. For example, what is the difference between a G-spot vibrator and a dildo? So, keep reading before checking out on a teaser that'll, well, hit the spot.

Toy type | Explainer |
G-spot probe | Sex toys designed specifically to stimulate the G-spot. Usually fitted with at least one motor and a range of speeds and/or vibration modes, as well as an ergonomically curved insertable arm and a flat-tipped head to lay on the erogenous zone. |
Contactless G-spot vibrator | A bit like a clit sucker, these use a combination of air pressure and contactless vibration to stimulate the G-spot. These are less common, and are perhaps an option better suited to experienced sex toy users who know where and how to stimulate their internal erogenous zone. |
Dual-action vibrator | Vibrators designed to stimulate your clitorisis (C-spot) and G-spot simultaneously. These often come with two arms — one larger and longer for inserting, the smaller designed to lay along your labia — or an internal vibrator and a clit sucker, such as the LELO ENIGMA. |
Rampant rabbit vibrator | These are dual-action toys built with a as the main shaft which can massage the inside. Closer to its base, you’ll find two arms that look like rabbit ears, which can tickle the clit. Big fan of penetration? Or maybe you need dual stimulation to achieve that O. Either way, the rabbit vibe’s a great option for you. |
No matter which G-spot toy you choose, “make sure it’s made from body-safe silicone or ABS plastic,” advises Engle. “Also, a waterproof vibrator is a great choice as it means you can also take it in the bath.”
“If you’re looking for a stand-alone G-spot vibrator, the So Divine Self-Pleasure G-Spot Vibrator is a great choice,” Long-Tel recommends. “It’s smooth and slim and easy to use, with a curved head that targets the G-spot for intense orgasms, but its adjustable speed settings mean you can explore that zone and see what feels best for you.”
“For those after the best of both worlds, the Smile Makers The Tennis Pro G-Spot Vibrator can also be directed at your clitoris and so is great for beginners who want to explore where they experience the most pleasure," Long-Tel continues.
A self-care splurge we highly recommend.

You'll be pleased to know that we haven't just relied on online reviews from shoppers (both satisfied and not) to pull together this guide. Since starting our search for the best G-spot vibrators in 2021, various willing volunteers — better known as members of the wider GLAMOUR team and their willing partners — have personally tested a host of sex toys. We considered every detail, from power to material quality, value for money and delivery (speedy and discreet being our main priorities).
Our writers and editors — who range from total toy beginners to experienced players — occupy various positions on the gender identity and sexuality spectrums. At the time of testing, they were aged between 25 and 40 and tested each toy during sex and solo masturbation for at least a week.
Ahead, the best G-spot vibrators for 2025, approved by GLAMOUR's sexual wellness writers:
“The G-spot is actually a very debated term,” explains Cameron Long-Tel, a sex educator and sexpert at LELO. “It may or may not exist – and there’s a huge misconception of it being some magic button within your vagina that is the key to pleasure.”
It's also known as the Gräfenberg spot and was named after German-Jewish gynaecologist and early pioneer of sexual health, Ernst Gräfenberg. “Many studies have proved it’s not an anatomic entity, but rather an area or ‘zone’ within the vagina, different for everyone, is sensitive to touch and capable of producing an orgasm with intense stimulation,” continues Long-Tel. “There’s also a misconception that the G-spot is distinct from the clitoris, when in fact these two spots go hand in hand — the G-spot is actually our internal clitoris."
If trying to find an internal pleasure point, some experts say you should aim for the spongy tissue — around five-eight centimetres up the front of the vaginal wall. Once located, it may swell and become sensitive. To stimulate it, some recommend using a ‘come hither’ motion, while others suggest automating the process and using one of the (best) G-spot vibrators above.
“Some women can experience intense orgasms from internal G-spot stimulation alone, whilst most experience orgasms from direct, external, clitoral stimulation,” Long-Tel explains. “But it isn’t anything you need to stress about, because either way, an orgasm is an orgasm, and rest assured, it will feel pretty good whatever form it comes to you.”
“Everyone is different and enjoys different things,” Gigi Engle, award-winning author, leading sexologist and sex expert at Sextoys.co.uk suggests. “Every single kind of orgasm is equal.”
It's more than just a mood-booster.

“G-spot vibrators are designed specifically for G-spot stimulation and are inserted into the vagina,” Long-Tel explains. They come in many designs, but the main giveaway is that they usually have a curved shape or bulbous head to hit the so-called spot. Some are ribbed, others smooth, but most have a curved shape and bulbous head to hit the so-called spot with ease.
“Although they are designed for penetration, they don’t go as deep as a dildo and the focus is all on targeting the G-spot, deemed to be located up the front of the vaginal wall,” she adds. Dildos, therefore, tend to be longer, straighter, and intended to mimic penetration by a penis.
When using a G-spot vibrator for the first time — or any sex toy for that matter — we suggest taking it slow. Coat the tip with water-based lube before gently placing the vibrating tip on various erogenous zones. Using the various buttons, wireless remotes or an accompanying app on your phone, cycle through the modes to see which you like the feel of.
The same rules apply when heading downstairs. Load up with lubricant before directing the vibrating tip at your clit. This may help you start to feel aroused and, consequently, a little more relaxed. Once ready, gently slide the tip inside. Aim the teaser at the front wall (AKA behind your belly button). Finding the right spot will feel differently for everyone, but you may feel a swell of pleasure, or the toy meets a softer, squishier section. Either way, don't be afraid to try out different angles and positions.
