There was one autumn beauty trend in particular we noticed among guests at the GLAMOUR Women of the Year Awards in partnership with Samsung Galaxy Ring, and it involved playing up a single detail.
We've heard the old adage: lips or eyes when it comes to statement makeup. Well lips confidently took the top spot on the WOTY red carpet, where we saw mirror-shine finishes and even all-glitter accents sketched across lips.
We mentioned in our autumn makeup round-up how the “no mascara” trend paired with a bold lip is one of the biggest looks this season. And we saw it play out on attendees.
Refy founder, Jess Hunt was, of course, on top of the trend. Jess skipped mascara all together, and even kept her brows minimal to give her glossy oxblood lip the chance to (literally) shine.
Jameela Jamil did tap up her signature liquid liner but her sheeny plum lip stole the most attention.
Pamela Anderson stayed true to her recent penchant for no makeup makeup, with the exception of a delicately statement poppy red lip.
Charli Howard's sequin lip undeniably stole the show (despite seriously stiff competition from her glitz red skirt suit).
Eve upped the ante on her red lip with a high-shine finish.
And Beth Ditto's pointy cupid's bow lip gave us sculpture, character and whimsy. We love an avant garde beauty moment.
So, if you're tempted to jump on this top autumn beauty, GLAMOUR's Women of the Year Awards red carpet has all the inpso you need.
