There was one autumn beauty trend in particular we noticed among guests at the GLAMOUR Women of the Year Awards in partnership with Samsung Galaxy Ring, and it involved playing up a single detail.

We've heard the old adage: lips or eyes when it comes to statement makeup. Well lips confidently took the top spot on the WOTY red carpet, where we saw mirror-shine finishes and even all-glitter accents sketched across lips.

Refy founder, Jess Hunt was, of course, on top of the trend. Jess skipped mascara all together, and even kept her brows minimal to give her glossy oxblood lip the chance to (literally) shine.

Jameela Jamil did tap up her signature liquid liner but her sheeny plum lip stole the most attention.
