Netflix's new TV series No Good Deed is a riot of fun, seeing different couples battle it out to buy an LA villa. But there's more than you might think going on beneath the surface, for the competing couples and the people who are looking to sell.
The No Good Deed cast is pretty stellar, including Friends star Lisa Kudrow and Scooby-Doo actor Linda Cardellini. No Good Deed was also created by Liz Feldman, the woman responsible for Dead To Me, which Cardellini also starred in with Christina Applegate.

Meet the No Good Deed cast
Lisa Kudrow
Lisa plays Lydia, a former renowned concert pianist who has strained relationships with her children. Her and her husband Paul (Ray Romano) are selling their house, and have differing feelings about it.
Of course, you'll know Lisa from hit TV sitcom Friends, where she starred alongside Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc for 10 years.
Linda Cardellini
Linda plays Margo, described as a “badass bitch”, which we love. She is desperate to sell and flip the house with her secret developer lover – scandalous. You may recognise her from the Scooby-Doo movie franchise, her appearance as Laura in Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron and Dead To Me.
Ray Romano
Ray plays Paul – Lydia's husband – who is a contractor that renovated the house that so many of the characters on the show want to buy.
You might recognise Ray from Fly Me To The Moon – where he starred alongside Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum – or Everybody Loves Raymond, The Big Sick or Martin Scorsese's The Irishman.
Denis Leary
Denis plays Mike, Paul's brother. They grew up in the house that is to be sold, and we get the idea that it might have been something of a troubled childhood.
You might recognise Denis' voice from Ice Age, where he voiced the Sabretooth Tiger.
Poppy Liu
Poppy plays Leslie, who is married to Sarah (Abbi Jacobson), and they really want to buy the house, and will be going to war with the other characters who are competing to be the successful buyers. You may recognise Poppy from Hacks or Space Cadets.
Abbi Jacobson
You may recognise Abbi from Broad City, Prime Video’s A League of Their Own or animated series Disenchantment.
Luke Wilson
Luke plays soap star JD Campbell, who is married to Linda Cardellini's character Margo. His career is ailing, which we're wondering may cause a bit of extra drama in the show and within his marriage.
You'll likely recognise Luke from Reese Witherspoon's Legally Blonde and Wes Anderson movie The Royal Tenenbaums.
O-T Fagbenle
O-T plays Dennis, who is checking out the property with his wife Carla, even though it may be slightly out of their budget. O-T has appeared in The Handmaid's Tale, Black Widow and Presumed Innocent.
Teyonah Parris

Teyonah plays Carla, Dennis' wife, a hard-working career women who is pregnant with their first child. You may have seen Teyonah in WandaVision, The Marvels or the amazing 2018 movie If Beale Street Could Talk.
There will apparently be some “new men" and the return of some previous male characters.
