Ah, WOTY. Also known as GLAMOUR Women of the Year 2024: the most sparkling night in the GLAMOUR calendar which saw celebrities from Simone Ashley to Jameela Jamil and Jodie Turner-Smith descend onto the red carpet outside Raffles London at The OWO for an evening of empowering celebrations. But scattered among the A-listers were the GLAMOUR team: an army who work tirelessly behind the scenes to put the event together – and who also use the night to get dressed up and don their Sunday best.
We know they all say it, but most of us genuinely did get asked where our outfits were from countless times on the night, so, for the first time ever, we thought we'd serve you the chance to shop them. From our European Editorial Director's red Alex Perry gown – the tomato hue was the shade of the evening – to our Senior Commerce Writer's Odd Muse and Nadine Merabi get-up, here's where the GLAMOUR team bought and rented their outfits from. You're welcome.
1. Camilla Kay, European Beauty Director & Deputy Editor
GLAMOUR's European Beauty Director, Camilla Kay, wore an elegant sheer skirt to this year's GLAMOUR Women of the Year Awards. A play on the sheer trend loved by Doja Cat, Miley Cyrus and Dua Lipa, this black, lace design is from high-street hero River Island – and has been paired with a chic, boxy short-sleeved blazer from The Frankie Shop and a sparkly Alexander Wang bag courtesy of eBay. A swipe of red lipstick finishes Camilla's look to perfection.
2. Lian Brooks, Senior Audience Development Manager
“I wanted to go all out for this year's GLAMOUR Women of the Year Awards, and for me, no-one does party season dressing quite like Nadine Merabi. The sequins, the drama, the silhouette – I'm obsessed.
"Opting for their Louisa Gold Dress, I loved the classic shape and thigh-high slit which allowed for a leggy Angelina moment, with it more than delivering on the glitz and glamour that the occasion called for.”
3. Sophie Donovan, Senior Commerce Writer
"I’ve been shouting Marks and Spencer’s praises for years, often putting my friends onto the retailer’s high-quality basics. Those magic-shaping jeans? A staple in my weekend wardrobe. But the designers are killing it right now, offering expensive-looking partywear and designer-inspired dupes en masse.
“I adored how the tassels gave this sequin skirt — a partywear classic — a modern twist, and allowed it to move as I did. While I paired it with a structured blazer on this occasion, I’m already planning on pairing it with an oversized graphic tee and a velvet waistcoat for other events in my calendar.”
4. Deborah Joseph, European Editorial Director
According to the GLAMOUR Women of the Year Awards, tomato red is the hottest shade of the season. Charlie Howard dressed in the hot hue from head-to-toe – red rhinestone lips included – as did this year's GLAMOUR Women of the Year award honouree Chloe Bailey and our European Editorial Director, Deborah Joseph. Deborah's dress was by Alex Perry, via Net-A-Porter, paired with gold heels and delicate jewellery.
5. Ali Pantony, Website Director
GLAMOUR's Website Director, Ali Pantony, opted to bring the saccharine Barbie shade of last summer back with a beautiful satin mini dress.
While the dress is vintage – and not available to shop online – we've linked a similar cut below, alongside Ali's gold, sequin-adorned Prada clutch bag. Which is, you'll be pleased to know, available to rent at Ebay, or to buy at MyTheresa. It's a 00's-style throwback, crafted from label-signature Re-Nylon and finished with a branded keychain.
6. Londie Ncube, European Fashion Editor
European Fashion Editor Londie Ncube donned a fiery, ruffle-adorned maxi by Christopher John Rogers at this year's WOTY, worn open atop a pair of black wool trousers by Prada. She paired it with Aquazurra's Yes Baby Sandal 95, and the Ari Crystal Mini Bucket Bag by the same brand. A round of applause, please.
7. Georgia Trodd, Senior Commerce Writer
“While I usually opt for all the sparkles, sequins and rhinestones for WOTY, this year I wanted something that was still glam but a bit more pared-back. I took the Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton AW24 runways as my inspo and opted for an all-white suit from Nadine Merabi paired with Odd Muse's Ultimate Muse bardot top and silver accessories, and gained the most amount of compliments I've ever received in one night - one from Kimberley Walsh(!).”
8. Sophie Cockett, Senior European Commerce Editor
"My obsession with all-black dressing has been replaced with a new number one for AW24. That is: dressing in head-to-head burgundy. My love for the rich tone started when the BASH Paris bag I'm pictured with landed on my desk: a beautifully-slouchy, drawstring tote bag finished with a gold chain handle. Then, it quickly spread to my tailoring, knitwear and basics purchases.
“For WOTY 2024, I decided to roll with it, and picked up this gorgeous midi dress from Reformation. It's a bit more brown than burgundy, granted, but it compliments the bag to perfection. The halterneck straps mean it can be worn in a multitude of different ways, and I love both the flattering drop waist and keyhole detailing.”
9. Lucy Morgan, Purpose Editor
GLAMOUR's Purpose Editor, Lucy Morgan, seen wearing Rat & Boa's Athena dress, which is adorned in a floral red print – acting as further proof of the power of the tomato red hue. She paired it with a sparkling pink evening bag, and an up-do, styled by ghd.
10. Esohe Ebohon, Operations Manager
GLAMOUR's Operations Manager Esohe Ebohon wore a yellow, tie-front Gucci dress, paired with a black slip and black heeled sandals.
11. Robyn Eugene, Social Media Manager
Alongside jewellery from The Diamond Store, GLAMOUR's Social Media Manager wore House of CB's Lady plunge-neck stretch-cotton midi dress – which is available in both Selfridges and House of CB. Robyn paired her dress with a bag rented from eBay: Dior's Saddle Bag in black leather, to be precise.
12. Fiona Ward, Acting Website Director
Australian designer Christopher Esber has been crafting luxe, easy-to-wear pieces since his label was founded in 2010 – and this sensual, cut out maxi dress worn by Acting Website Director Fiona Ward acts as proof. She paired her dress with jewellery by Hey Harper – shop a similar chain necklace down below, by Ottoman Hands – a pair of white heeled mules, and a white woven clutch bag.
13. Rosie Lai, Acting Fashion Editor
Fresh from Paris Fashion Week, GLAMOUR's Acting Fashion Editor made a statement – as always – in the most gorgeous Self Portrait gown. Floor length, fitted and cut with a high neckline, it was the perfect outfit for her first WOTY.
14. Fiona Embleton, Associate Beauty Director
“Needle & Thread is my go-to for occasion dresses,” Fiona said. “I fell in love with the tulle detail on this dress, the elegant silhouette and the half sheer skirt that added a daring but polished touch.”

15. Katie Leirey, Senior SEO Manager
Keeping things classic, Katie Leirey opted for a bejewelled black maxi dress from ASOS, with an asymmetric neckline and sheer skirt. A gorgeous get-up which she hopes to re-wear for Christmas parties aplenty (during her first Christmas as a resident of London).
16. Elle Turner, Senior Beauty Editor
"I’ve never dared to wear a sheer dress before but the Seren gown from House of CB is so romantic and elegant, I thought it could work. I love how flattering the panelling is, it made me feel really secure and comfortable, and the dress comes with bikini-style briefs so you don’t have to worry about underwear. This gave me sophistication with a little sexiness. I’m obsessed. For finishing touches, I wore my trusted Missoma pendant and some gold hoops (plus a gold sparkly bag, borrowed from our lovely web director, Ali).”
17. Samantha Reynolds, PA to European Editorial Director
While it's not available to shop online, if Samantha Reynolds' floor-length Galvin gown gets your vote, you'll want to be making a beeline for MyWardrobe at Harrods. Samantha looked spectacular with waved hair, styled by ghd, her sequin Galvin gown, and a small gold clutch – rented from eBay.
18. Louisa Bryant, Associate Visuals Editor
“I knew I would be working the ground at my first GLAMOUR Women of the Year Awards between the team and photographers, so I opted for something that didn't stand out too much. Comfort was key for me during the evening. This suit combo was an ultimate staple - smart and chic and keeping it true to myself with my Dr Martens, nice and polished - you can't go wrong!”
